The Bourne End U3A Bird Watching Group meets once a month
(currently the 3rd Wednesday morning) with a visit to a suitable bird
watching site/nature reserve. So far we have visited seven sites and
recorded between 31 and 58 different bird species per trip.. Most visits
will be within three quarters of an hours drive from Bourne End with
some visits being very local. For the longer journeys car sharing will
be encouraged. The group is open to beginners and more experienced
birders. Members should bring binoculars. Most visits will be for
several hours and distances walked will vary but not typically more than
about two miles. Please contact the convener to enquire about spaces.
It’s probably full at present.
