We are a group of golfers who meet for a ‘socially competitive’ round every Tuesday and Friday mornings at Huntswood Golf Club
which is approximately 3 miles from Bourne End. Players can choose
whether to play 9 or 18 holes. Green fees are payable on the day at the
appropriate ‘Senior Non-Member’ rates which can be found on Huntswood’s
website.
Players are expected to be of a reasonable standard – but we are not
looking for low handicap golfers – more for players who, for example,
might be returning to the game after a few years’ absence or are just
looking for a social round of golf. We might also
suit players looking to improve their game by playing more regularly –
although no formal tuition is given – but we regret that we would not
suit anyone who has never really played the game of golf. We’d love to
see some new faces.
